    • Aunt Dorothy Gebhart Kirkpatrick was in the hospital delivering her son Te rry on December 16, 1946. She was waiting for her uncle Lewis Gebha rt to show up. When Lew walked in with Georgie Kirkpatrick, George's moth er and Aunt Dot's mother-in-law--she asked what took them so long and th ey replied that they had gotten married before coming to hospital. Aunt D ot didn't know that they were dating--only that they had gone to a coup le of concerts together. That is how her uncle became her step-father-in- law. Lew was a good man and a good husband to my grandmother, Georgi e. He was also very good to all of his step-grandchildren.
